Sato Ramen evolved from a Japanese family tradition of ramen restaurants that began in Fukui, Japan (just north of Kyoto) and expanded to Tokyo. Executive Chef Satomi Sakai Smith grew up in a restaurant family that became famous for creating a Fukui-style ramen, which consists of a pork tonkotsu and chicken blend that adheres to a quality balanced broth of hardiness and smoothness enjoyable year-round.
Sato Ramen is a place where you can get both an authentic Japanese ramen bar experience and feel the Buffalo community and see why we are called the "City of Good Neighbors." Most of the seating is counter-style, with two community tables as well. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept reservations. If you would like to make a reservation please visit SATO on Elmwood Ave or Sato Brewpub in downtown.
